With the growing number of people in need of support we’re always on the look-out for the very best carers to join our growing team of Care Heroes. It’s not always an easy job, but it is immensely rewarding. If you’re genuinely interested in making a difference to people and improving the quality of their lives, we’d love to hear from you.
Your personal qualities and motivation are far more important to us than your professional experience or qualifications. If you’re right for TerraBlu, we’ll give you great training and help you get the right qualifications. To be a TerraBlu carer, you will be genuinely interested in people, compassionate and caring; you will be motivated by a desire to improve people’s lives; and you will have the utmost respect and consideration for the people you will be looking after. You will be reliable, trustworthy, willing to work as part of a team and able to use your own initiative when necessary.
Relevant professional experience in the care sector is fantastic, but it’s not essential. You may have other relevant experience that has given you an insight into the positive difference that a great carer can make and that demonstrates your own abilities as a carer. For example, you may have spent time looking after your own elderly relatives, bringing up children or volunteering your time to help others. We do need you to be able to drive and to have your own transport.
