Our Partners

We have developed partnerships and work closely with a number of organisations to ensure we offer the best possible care at home and to give you access to an extended range of services. At TerraBlu Home Care we believe the highest quality care and support is shaped by the latest research, the most up-to-date advice, and best practice thinking.

Age UK

Our partnership with Age UK supports and extends our range of services. We have also set up a quality assurance panel with senior local representatives from Age UK to allow us to regularly review the standard of care we deliver. Formed in 2010 following the merger of Age Concern and Help the Aged, Age UK works to improve later life for everyone by providing life-enhancing services and vital support. Its services range from helping you to manage jobs around the home and maintaining your garden to advice, advocacy and administration services. Age UK is the only UK charity to focus research funds exclusively on later life. You can read more about the excellent services Age UK offers here: Age UK >>.

Dementia Services Development Centre (SE)

We work closely with the Dementia Services Development Centre (SE) to ensure our specialist care programme follows best practice and to continually update our in-house training programmes. Serving the counties of Kent, Sussex and Surrey, the aim of the Dementia Services Development Centre (SE) is to plan, deliver, and improve the quality of services for older people with dementia. The Centre is based at Canterbury Christ Church University and works in partnership with Avante Partnership and Dementia UK. You can read more about the Centre at Dementia Services Development Centre >>.

Kent County Council

We are an approved home care provider to Kent County Council. We actively participate in their West Kent provider forum and invite them on an occasional basis to attend our client forums and social events. Find out more about their services at Kent County Council Care Services >>.

Care Quality Commission

We are registered with and licensed by the Care Quality Commission to provide home care services. In 2008 we were awarded an "Excellent, 3 Star" rating by the Commission for Social Care Inspection. This organisation has now been superceded by the CQC who are reviewing their quality ratings. The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. With an aim to ensure better care is provided for everyone, the commission regulates care provided by the NHS, local authorities, private companies and voluntary organisations. United Kingdom Homecare Association Ltd (UKHCA)

We are proud to be a member of the UKHCA, the professional association of home care providers. We have worked closely with the President of the UKHCA, who was an invaluable mentor when TerraBlu Home Care was first established. We regularly tap into their expertise as we develop new services. Championing home care standards, UKHCA's aim is to help organisations offer high quality, sustainable services of choice in the home and the community.
