With an ageing population, the issue of caring for our senior citizens is a topic constantly in the news. Most people want to stay in their own homes and retain as much independence as possible. TerraBlu helps clients achieve that and views them as valued members of the community, with their own stories and experience to share.

Research has shown that domiciliary care is often cheaper than going into a home. Change is often hard for people of any age, but especially older generations, who are comforted by being able to stay in familiar surroundings and retain their pets and belongings.

Helping our clients manage at home, often beyond personal care needs, is the key to a successful service. We organise social events that can be a welcome outing. We also signpost to a range of CRB checked services such as handyman, gardener or someone to help with setting up a television of computer.

For clients managing their funds under Direct Payments or Individual Budgets, we can tailor our service, backed up with itemised weekly billing and computer recorded call times. This all helps clients with their audit responsibilities to KCC and other authorities. TerraBlu also accepts the Kent Card.
